What is ACM-ICPC?

The ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) is the most prestigious global programming competition conducted and participated by more than two thousand universities from over 91 countries on six continents.

This year, Ateneo de Manila University is honored to hold the ACM-ICPC Asia-Manila Regionals 2017 once again after displaying a remarkable performance hosting the same event from the previous year.

The ACM-ICPC Asia-Manila Regionals 2017 serves as one of the qualifiers for the ACM-ICPC World Finals.

Call for Female Contestants

The 2017 ACM-ICPC Asia-Manila Regional Contest and ACM Special Interest Group on Women in Computing-Philippines, through the cooperation of the Computing Society of the Philippines Special Interest Group on Women in Computing

Call for Female Contestants at the 2017 ACM-ICPC Asia-Manila Regionals

To strongly encourage the participation of female contestants in the Asia-Manila Regional Contest, the 2017 Asia-Manila Regionals Organizers and the ACM Special Interest Group on Women in Computing-Philippines (ACM-WiC-Ph), through the cooperation of the Computing Society of the Philippines Special Interest Group on Women in Computing (CSP-SIG-WiC), will provide special awards to teams with females among their members:

  1. P20,000 for the best performing team with at least one female member
  2. P5,000 for the next five best performing teams with at least one female member

Rules

  1. The prizes will be awarded on the basis of team composition followed by score, in that order.
  2. The team must successfully solve at least one problem.
